A short update to let you know that Rob Bryson, one of our fantastic Reflex Osteopaths, completed the London Vitality Big Half Marathon last weekend. He finished it in the very impressive time of 1 hour 28 minutes. To me that sound very fast! This was Rob’s first ever running event which makes this even more impressive. This half marathon performance is only the build-up though to October’s (fast approaching) full London Marathon. That will be another first for Rob. There is a mission behind this though, and Rob is raising money for a very good cause.
“I am running the London Marathon in aid of St Georges Hospital and the remodelling of their ‘Forget Me Not Suite’. This is a very important place for parents to mourn and spend some precious final moments with their children in privacy, and after their tragic losses. If you have a spare moment, please take some time to to view my Virgin Money Giving page which has more information. Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and is going to an amazing cause! Thank you in advance.”
There has also been a Press Release that has now been published widely about Rob’s marathon preparations, and you can find that here.
I am sure you will join with me and all of Team Reflex is wishing Rob Bryson well for the full marathon, and i hope that you may be able to spare a little towards this great fund-raising cause. We will keep you updated with Rob’s progress up to and including the big run!
If you have any questions, especially about the Forget Me Not Suite at St Georges, please do contact us at the clinic on 0118 946 2100 or leave a message for Rob Bryson who will get back to you.
